Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of our website, contact/appointment tools, and client portal operated by our law office. By using the services, you agree to these terms where applicable law permits.

1. Who we are

These services are provided by Asqeri Law Office (Tirana, Albania). The website is available at: https://www.zyreavokatieasqeri.com.

2. Nature of the services

The website offers general information about our office, publications, ways to contact us, and (where enabled) scheduling. The client portal allows authenticated clients and authorised staff to exchange messages and documents regarding matters we handle.

Content on the public site is for information only and does not constitute legal advice or an offer of representation. You should not rely on it as a substitute for advice tailored to your facts.

3. Accounts and portal access

Portal accounts are issued at our discretion to clients or staff. You must keep credentials confidential, notify us of suspected unauthorised use, and provide accurate information. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, risk to security, or end of mandate, subject to applicable law and professional duties.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the services: no unlawful, harassing, or deceptive activity; no attempt to breach security or probe vulnerabilities without authorisation; no introduction of malware; no automated scraping that burdens the infrastructure without permission; no upload of content you do not have the right to share.

5. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, we own or license the materials on the site (text, branding, layout, graphics). You may view and print reasonable copies for personal, non-commercial use. Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use requires our prior written consent except where limited exceptions apply by law.

You retain rights in materials you upload to the portal; you grant us a licence to use them to the extent needed to provide legal services and operate the platform.

6. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law (including mandatory consumer protection rules in the EU/EEA and UK where they apply to you), we exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or special losses arising from use of the public site or technical unavailability, except where caused by our gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot legally be limited.

7. Consumers in the EU, EEA, and UK

If you are a consumer, statutory rights under consumer law (including distance and off-premises contracts where relevant to paid services booked online) remain unaffected. Any choice of law below does not deprive you of protections that cannot be waived under the law of your country of residence.

8. Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Albania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would refer to another system, subject to mandatory provisions of the law applicable to you as a consumer or data subject.

Courts competent in Albania shall have jurisdiction for disputes arising from these terms, without prejudice to rights you may have to bring proceedings in another jurisdiction under EU/EEA consumer legislation.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The updated version will show a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law; for material changes affecting consumers, we will comply with any notice requirements imposed by applicable law.

10. Contact
